Short answer: a UK cleaning business needs a CRM that handles repeat visits, reminders, invoices and the phone. Unavoidable CRM does all four from £29 a month per business, with an AI receptionist that answers calls and books visits.
The other options most UK cleaners look at are Cleaner Planner (from £19 a month), ServiceM8 (free for 30 jobs, then from £25 a month) and two US-priced apps, Jobber and ZenMaid. All prices below were checked on each company’s own pricing page in October 2026.
Cleaning is repeat work. A domestic round might be 40 customers on a weekly or fortnightly rota; a commercial contract might be the same office five evenings a week. That changes what matters compared with a one-off trade job:
Most cleaning software is strong on the first four. The fifth, the phone, is where the options differ most.

Jobber’s page showed US dollar prices and introductory discounts when we checked, and none of the competitor pages we read said whether VAT is included, so confirm the final figure before you sign up.
To be fair, Unavoidable CRM is newer than the others in this table and has none of the long review history ServiceM8 or Jobber have. Cleaner Planner is cheaper if one person only needs a round planner and does not want call answering.
Start with your biggest leak. If you are a sole trader with a settled round and few new enquiries, a simple round planner such as Cleaner Planner may be all you need. If you run a team doing lots of small jobs and the phone is under control, ServiceM8’s job-based pricing is worth comparing. If you are growing and lose new customers because you cannot answer the phone mid-clean, or invoices drift past their due date, Unavoidable CRM is built for that: one price per business, calls answered, and money chased for you.
The easiest test is a week of real work. Start the 14-day free trial, put your next week of visits in, and see how many calls the receptionist catches. See how Unavoidable CRM works for cleaning and pest control, our pricing and the full comparison page.

From what we read on the vendors’ own pages in October 2026, paid plans start at about £19 to £29 a month for one person, and roughly £49 to £149 a month for a team of five. Unavoidable CRM is £29 a month for one user and £149 for five, with texts and calls at cost.
Yes. Look for service contracts or recurring jobs. In Unavoidable CRM you set a contract as weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and visits and reminders follow automatically.
Not always. A round planner covers scheduling. A CRM is worth it when you also want enquiries, quotes, invoices, payment chasing and calls in one place, so new customers do not slip through while you are working.
Unavoidable CRM’s AI receptionist can answer common questions and book a visit into your diary. Jobber offers an AI receptionist on its Plus plan or as an add-on. Minutes on ours cost 10p to 15p at the provider’s price.
